The Madura College, as a premier higher educational institution, believes in being agile and susceptible to change. In this regard, our college strives to collaborate with other institutions to bring about quality initiatives in the college.

Case Study - I (Creation of Miyawaki Forest)

Miyawaki forest – An ultra-dense bio-diverse dense pocket forest conceived in association with the Rotary Club of Madurai West.

Miyawaki forest is a pioneering concept of a bio-diverse dense pocket forest that is self-sustained. The forest will attract bees, birds, reptiles among other fauna to create a bio-diverse ecosystem. The Madura College collaborated with the Rotary Club of Madurai West to bring this pioneering concept into reality within our campus. The project is a huge success in respect of effective knowledge sharing and implementation among the collaborators. The forest is now home to more than 110 different plants / trees and fauna including butterflies, dragonflies, bees, peacocks, frogs and snakes.

Case Study - II (Establishment of Madura College Tennis Academy)

The Madura College Tennis Academy as an outcome of collaboration of The Madura College with International Tennis Federation, Madurai.

Tennis Courts prepared to international standards will support tennis aspirants from the region to prepare and face competitive sports at National / International level. It is with this motive that The Madura College associated with International Tennis Federation, Madurai to set-up four flood lit Tennis Courts with Synthetic top. The college has a plan to have an in-house coach to advance the activities of the Tennis Academy further for the benefit of our students and other aspirants.

Initiative under MoUs

The college / departments have entered into MoU with several institution to advance the objective with which these MoUs have been signed. The college has signed a total of 21 MoUs with Industries / NGOs / Institutions across academics and co-curricular spheres.
