CHIEF COORDINATOR'S PROFILE

Lt.Cdr.Dr.I.NAGARAJAN served as an Associate Professor and Head, PG and Research Department of Commerce, Thiagarajar College(Autonomous) , Madurai -625009, TamilNadu. He has over 37 years of Experience in teaching, Research and administration. He held various administrative positions in the College such as Controller Examinations, Dean (Curriculum Development), NCC Navy Officer etc. He served as a member in the Board of studies of various autonomous Colleges and Universities. He has presented and published numerous papers in National and International Conferences and Journals. Under his able guidance seven candidates have been awarded Doctorate Degree and 30 candidates have been awarded M.Phil Degree. He has been conferred with the honorary rank of 'Lieutenant Commander' by the President of India for his meritorious service in NCC Navy. He has authored a Book on Cost Accounting and Co-Authored a book on Auditing Practices.

A new ambience, fresh prospects, pioneering opportunities, and innovative initiations – it's indeed my privilege to have set foot on a novel journey in this esteemed institution.

The Madura College is endowed with a progressive futuristic outlook aims continuous growth in the quality of all academic activities with a sense of commitment to fully meet the expectations of the students, parents and society at large. We take a lot of care to ensure that the qualities such as hard work, discipline, value system and obligation towards the society and the nation imbibed in our students. We accord prime importance to the behavioral discipline, moral integrity and cognitive developments of our students. Our experienced faculty members help in developing a critical and analytical thinking of the students.

Today, there are 2500 students explore various branches of knowledge under self-Finance stream. The milestones set in the past 135 years of our Institution's journey have lent a significant edge towards its promising future. The firm foundation laid with meticulous planning and 'tireless striving' of all stakeholders will strengthen us to reach greater heights in the years to come.
