Identifying and circulating funding opportunities from agencies like UGC, DST, ICSSR,CSIR etc.,CSR funding.
Assisting faculty in writing proposals, Budget planning, Monitor utilization of sanctioned funds / organizing faculty development programmes on these topics.
Improving quality and quantity of research publications.
Ensuring publications are in Indexed journals (Scopus, Web of Science).
Tracking institutional research metrics.
Establishing and monitoring Research centres, Laboratories.
Ensuring adherence to academic integrity standards.
Supporting faculty in Ph.D. supervision.
Organizing workshops, developing partnerships with Universities/Industries.
Facilitating joint research consultancy projects.
Promoting patents, encouraging startups and innovation.
Contributing to NAAC (especially Research & Innovation criteria), National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) & maintaining research data for AQAR reports.
Contributing in other areas for the overall development of the institution.
